Have you analyzed the speech they are producing? My son is 2 and a half and very typically developing. However, at times he is difficult to understand when he is trying to produce a difficult word. I also notice developmental stuttering with him. It's a kick to see him develop his speech and language actually. Maybe if you explain what the errors are at the conversational level other slp's can provide futher treatment ideas.
