Does the child have other sounds errors you can target? I have a child right now who has the same difficult and nothing was working so I decided to concentrate on his other sound errors for now. I still try to address the /k/ and /g/ to see if they are closer. Sometimes I have better success with just working on those tricky sounds just at the end of words or syllables.
