I have tried eliciting CV combinations for one of my articulation cases who has k in isolation, and it has not been working at all. I have tried whispering, doing VC-CV combinations, using blocks and playdoh to illustrate the k and the vowel and pushing the closer together, using h as easy onset, going right to words, but nothing has worked and the child will say "tea" for "key". The only way this child makes a CV combination is if there is a pause between the two. I am getting very desperate. Can anyone help?
