Without knowing both sides I am hesistant to make any specifice comments. With that said you do have parental rights to bring an advocate to IEP meetings. I don't know what state you are in-but in my state there are ARC advocates and PACER support.
As far as 1 to 1 therapy- I don't know your son's age or needs but I rarely see students alone. There are many advantages to being with even one other peer.
Remember to be part of the team and try not to be too defensive. He is your child and his best interests might be met by establishing a positive working relationship with your team.
I have not been trained in PROMPT and only know a little. It is very expensive. Oral motor therapy is somewhat controversial and there are lots of viewpoints.
