85-115 is WNL, so an 81-84 would be below average in the BORDERLINE area. Would benefit from therapy because he/she is already close.
Without the manual, 8 and above would not qualify for therapy. 7 is borderline, and 6 or below is where we usually think the student needs intervention. If skills were all 6-7 i would be sure to administer another test. We give 3-4 tests anyway to make sure we don't miss a need.
