Sometimes, that type of discrepency can be a red flag for CAPD; it may be something you'd want to run past the audiologist from the school district to see if he/she thinks full assessment of auditory processing is warranted. I have also seen ADD impact receptive scores as a previous poster mentioned. Sometimes, from my experience, there's a fine line between ADD and CAPD. Luckily, we don't have to make the diagnosis in these cases!
