These things vary from state to state. In states where I've worked only a master's in SLP is allowed. However I've heard that some states allow bachelors level SLPs. I think they may have special waivers in their regs set up to address the shortage of SLPs but I don't really know how it's implemented, I just know that I've heard of folks with bachelors in SLP getting jobs in schools in other states.
