Do you work as an SLP in the schools? While you don't need a teaching certificate to work in the schools, you should be able to get one. I know that most people don't bother getting a teaching certificate through the state department of education as they are able to work in the schools with state licensure as an SLP, and don't want to pay the extra fees. If having a certificate would enable the loan forgiveness, it would be worth doing.
