I just now noticed your dungeon comment -- that's funny! I also have a windowless room but a couple of years ago I looked up "windows" on allposters.com and found a great poster of a lake, trees, and blue sky as seen through a window with a gentle breeze blowing the curtain. I put it exactly where a window should be. My students love it, especially in the winter -- even my most literal-minded students make corny jokes about it-- and you'd be surprised how often I find myself daydreaming about that scene (of course, in our work/copy room there's a small picture of George Clooney that has the same effect on a lot of us).
