I was just reading an article in Advance (the free magazine for SLPS) about this. It seems that often the terms for loan forgiveness is for teachers and unfortunately they don't always feel SLPs and other school staff fit this. Good luck! I hope you can get it! Years ago I was able to get a loan forgiven over a 5 year period since I was in special education as an SLP but that particular loan no longer exists.
