Actually, I have never had to work on these sounds with my phonological kids as they pick them up on their own after we work on stridency through the s-blends. Hodson does not typically recommend them as targets initially, only at the end if they still need to work on them. I do work on /r/ and /l/ at this age though and have seen incredible results in children with phonological delay.
