I test mainly just for placement purposes and re-evaluation. I really like the CELF-Preschool for the PreK to K population. I like the OWLS (Oral and Written Lang. Scales) for other school ages. I use the oral expression and listening comprehension sections. I have the CASL but find it lengthy and somewhat advanced for younger students even though it is normed.
