Mom is looking for both information and ammunition. She thinks her child is being held back by apraxia, but that the language is in there. I'm thinking my best bet is the Receptive One Word because it's simple pictures. I think the PPVT is too busy, and the pictures can be abstract and difficult to discriminate. I'm also looking into the CREVT, I don't have it & I administered it years ago. I know I can only get a receptive score from this student. Any thoughts? I will stress the lack of validity & reliability with the anticipated scores. Thanks so much for your responses!
