Unless your student has unlimited access to vocabulary and sentence structure--you're not going to get anything expressive. You could try to have him point to pictures for receptive tests such as the ROWPVT or BOEHM but I'd caution you againt presenting anything as valid and reliable. Is mom looking for simple information or ammunition?
