Posted by Announcement on 2/25/2002, 9:04 am The following is a link to a page on the Lupron Victims site, which is quite interesting to read about how they interpret the info/statistics significantly different than Tap Pharmaceuticals (maker of Lupron) are publishing: Pay special attention to the number of women in the study that Tap is basing their `glorified' statistics on after 12 months. Also notice that when Tap `decreases' the numbers regarding the amount of bone loss in subsequent years in its literature, it appears to be due to the tomography used for screening…and there is more. You may want to look at the page on bone loss to read those findings: You may also want to read the page on media attention to this drug: There are many more articles on the Lupron Victim site – I also have quite a few links on abstracts on Lupron studies if anyone is interested, I can post them. The most recent ones (in regard to bone loss) I have found are looking at add-back therapy with Lupron and the `conclusions' are ranging from `improves' to `prevents' bone loss when add-back is given with Lupron. Love, Note:
I have pasted a 2-part article that appeared in the Boston Herald in three separate posts that follow this one.

I just wanted to take a second to say that this info is, of couse, dealing with the negative side of Lupron. There are women that have taken it and feel it has been good for them. There are always 2 sides to every story, so do your own research and talk to as many others as you can to get their experiences. We all are traveling this path of endo, but our experiences will be varied ~ so listen, research and make your own decisions, based on what you feel is right for you!
