These ol trips down to the PCS Billabong can be fraught with danger sometimes and that proved to be the case as the Lady Bobcats topped MRA in overtime..Close game throughout with lead changes and lots of big three pointers with the difference being some tenacious play down the stretch by the Bobcats. Everyone there to see it got their money's worth for sure...Lady Cats have been building all season after losing four starters from last seasons Gold Ball final team and are putting things together for a stretch run into the playoffs. MRA is a tough team to play so this was a good game to win for the Cats especially with ol Coach Force plotting, planning, and scheming against us..There have been many great games the last several years between PCS and MRA and this was one of them..Both teams are fun to watch...
Lots of entertainment around the gym on a rainy Tuesday night not the least of which was Rocket Phil of WPCS, 50,000 watts Tower of Power rocking the night and even rolled off some Steppenwolf tunes among many other good uns like Frankie Valie...Celebrities all around including the very famous Missy Bilderback who's team is tied for first in the JC ranks, a famous former MRA player, a golf coach or two, and a track coach who's won so many cross country titles we've lost count, and even SECFans number was on the bathroom wall..(Toll free of course, operators are standing by so have your credit card ready...) Food was great, lots of assorted hangars on in the stands, ( some of whom you may not want to Vulcan Mild Meld with..could be traumatic..) and some who surely never got any trick or treat candy in their life and have never been put down for a reference either.... As for going to the coast after the game to celebrate, no takers yet again..Guess we'll have to taser them to get em down there one night...Just ain't what they used to be as now they make uncle joe on Petticoat Junction look like the energizer bunny.....
All in all a great night at PCS, which is THE hot ticket in town of course..Thanks to all who put in the hard work to make all this possible...Go Cats..
