Coach Hawkins merry band of Bobcats behind Woullards third consecutive 300 yard game rushing advanced to the second round of the playoffs on what turned out, despite a not so good weather forecast, to be a perfect night for football. This closes out the season at home for the 'Cats who have had a great run of it at the good 'ol Billabong and highlighted by two wins over JA. Had to have a sausage dog and some grilled chicken and a bottle of bellywash to celebrate a playoff win as those are hard to come by. Hawkins is one of the best in the business and has brought PCS a long, long way since he arrived on the scene here, and it's hard to have enough superlatives in the vocabulary to describe him. He is indeed a blessing to PCS, as is everyone else there, (yes even the wardens too..)as they make the difficult look easy. Its hard and sometimes thankless work running a school, putting on events, you name it, and they do it so well. A huge thanks to all who make it happen and what a great way to spend a Friday night...Safe travels to all from JA back up Hwy 49 past all those Sonic Drive Ins, and the Western Sizzlin in Magee that has about half the lights out on their sign....As for the Bobcat faithful , Bubba and them reportedly lit out for the coast to get into the huge Buffett at the 'Beau, shoot some pool at Spiders, and just celebrate in general with all the cash they have been winning on football games lately....Congrats again to Hawkins and the 'Cats and PCS was yet again THE hot ticket in town on Friday night....Go Cats...
PCS super kicker Logan added a 54 yarder to his trophy case on Friday night to go along with his 56 yard FG vs Prep...He may be the best kicker in the country this year...Caught a pass on a two point conversion too....Can do it all..
