As to your statement about good teams sitting at home while crappy district runner ups fill automatic seeds.....I think we saw that at Columbia THIS year. They were probably a top 7 or 8 program in a loaded triple a...and got left out.
Bottom line is this:
While it didn't impact Canton/TC per seeding against each other....there is some obvious issues with the power point system when TC ends up with more points than Canton.....maybe I didn't word my first post correctly, or maybe it just went over your head. Additionally, no way in heck that WCCA and Prairie View should be 1 and 2....again, the power point metrics are flawed. Is there a better way? Hell I don't know....what I do know is that Canton played two Triple A playoff teams and a quad A team, fairly close all of them (yes they lost to ERA 36-16)...and got punished.
