Brandon Harris needs to play just like he has been playing. LF needs to play just like he has been playing. I'll be very happy with 150 yards rushing from LF, and 175 yards passing from BH and 30-40 with his legs. I think all of this will happen. Bama isn't some great invincible team. The media loves to build them up that way. They looked over a bad game against a bad Wisconsin team. The Ole Miss game was pitiful. Yes they had turnovers...but they also gave up a lot of yards to a team that has proven to not have much offense when they have played a team with a pulse. The Arkansas game, a team that is 2-4, they were trailing midway through the third quarter 7-3. They beat a Georgia team who quite frankly has been exposed, and hasn't beaten a team with a winning record. They beat Texas A&M. Hell, last year they beat them 59-0. LSU hasn't lost to them since they joined the SEC.
Bama is a good team...no doubt....but for the first time I can honestly say going into the game that I believe LSU is better....and maybe not even marginally. The special teams do scare me though....bigtime. BTW, Mills is returning to the secondary this week (played a little last week) and should be 100% for Bama. He was projected as a late first rounder to start the season, so this will be a big boost to the secondary, not only in play but in leadership.
Roll Tide!
