Posted by Alya I am currently working on my BA diploma thesis (in the UK they call it a "dissertation"). The topic is "Bad News Make the News: Comparative Analysis of Contemporary News Programs". The goal is to analyze the news programs to see whether the assumptions that bad news make the news is true. On the overall, I claim that negativity became somewhat of a news value. An "overarching", my supervisor said. Well, we'll have to see about that. I searched the net and the libraries for research on a similar topic to see the context of my paper. Couldn't find anything. If anyone will have any ideas or could drop a name of a book I would be very grateful. In turn, could share my results, techniques and etc. Thanks!
