I am studying communication and I am in the process of deciding my topic for my dissertation. I would like to base it around reality television such as big brother and study whether you can truly be yourself when you know that you are being watched. Is there an aspect of communication theory that would help me in drawing conclusions from this as I can't seem to think of any. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
