i am a student from Romania, my english is not so good, i hope you understand.
i want to know what exactly is social identity (if it refers only to sex, race/ ethnicity and age or it includes other dimensions like level of culture, the fact that i am from a university and you are from an other, for example)
please if you can give me some researchesn about social identity related to communication, the way in witch social identity affects the group and intergroup communication. in that order i want to know if the following are correct: i measured/ identified the type of communication (assertive or empathic for example); then i make individuals to become aware of their identities (i put them to compare with an other group) and then i will see if the type of intra and intergroup communication is changed.
