I am very very dissapointed nobody let people know the firsts game was off on saturday against bugbrooke.
I know i was in the seconds saturday and our game was called off early and resonable time was given to make plans for the rest off the day, But i feel for the likes of will reeve who turned up at the ground only for somebody to say the game was called off (he travelled from daventry) waste of fuel and his plans were ruined.
Sam reeve only found out from his brother at last minute, i think it is a utter disgrace, a simple phone call early to let people know would have been nice.
No wonder people dont wont to play cricket for the firsts including me will reeve has had a anough of it im getting that way as well, The atmosphere has gone and it seems like the club is run by individuals now mention no names.
Some people in the club again (mention no names) are getting to think they run the club by themselves. Also one good thing that has come from the club is Rob Harding he is doing everything at mo but we dont want to put on him with everything, he is a top chap and we dont wont to loose him.
It just reminds me when kerry, me and the reeves painted all the pavilion and i mean all the pavilion and kerry was even up ladders painting the ceiling whilst pregnant with fran did we get a thankyou did we heck and that was 6 years ago things like that still stay in my head.
If people are now thinking im trouble for this club and time for me to go to another club then let it be, Just think the club this year is being run wrong and certain individuals are going above themselves. (its like the saying says all the gear no idea).all i can say is things have to change and fast this weekend has tipified that.
