I luckily persuaded Josh to play cricket for SNC yesterday evening when he turned up at our ground & found they were a player short. Play had to stop at about 7pm due to Bugbrooke's 1st rain of the day. There was then a power cut in most of Bugbrooke after this but Josh saw that the overhead power lines were flashing badly where they touched trees just past the pavilion. With great initiative he went over to Bob Riches & asked him to phone the electricity board - I saw the electricians when they came & chopped off many branches & they told me it saved them a lot of time locating the problem. Power was eventually restored by 10pm.
