Posted by Streety on 26/8/2006, 8:03 pm Ons batted first and were bowled out for 108. Sam took 4 wickets, myself 3, Robbo 2 and Dave 1. Batting was far from easy for the top order with wickets falling but Andy made a patient 40 not out to hold things together. Any thoughts of scratching around for victory were dispelled as Sam smashed the last 20 or 30 runs in a couple of overs.
The 1sts beat ONs IVs by 5 wickets to secure promotion to Division 6 next year.
