Today the seconds outmuscled Irchester to take their first win of the season!!! 
Irchester "claimed the toss" and stuck us into bat but opener Nigel Heath battled against the odds to make an unbetean 58 while the others chipped in around him to post 151.
We got back out there and took 2 quick wickets before the rain came.
When we managed to get back out the game had been reduced to 35 overs a side and the revised target was 118. But it wasn't to be for Irchester as "superman" Adrian Scutt tore through the Irchester side claiming career best figures of 8-32 and also aided by a magic catch from Sam Bird. They ended up with about 70 all out from 23 overs.
