What a brilliant evening organised by Sam Bird - I have never seen so many people at the Club with the lounge heaving with no room to move. Many thanks to all those who worked so hard before the day as well as on the day. Mark & Rita for running BBQ, Ciaran for pool competition, Tony & Lesley for running a very busy bar with highest ever takings and all the others who helped to make the evening such a success. Not forgetting Roger who has kept the Junior cricket going for a number of years now with often very little assistance. It shows how strong our Club is with all these young cricketers who are so keen - it was a pity more senior players were not present to witness the event for they would have been amazed.
