I, too, am a descendent of a McKee line in the Philadelphia area--but it seems to be from a different line. I believe Matthew McKee married Mahaleth Segnor in the 1800's. He had several children including Albert who was my great-grandfather. One of his children, Thomas, was my grandfather--who seems to have lived in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. My father, Thomas, was born in Baltimore and their family moved back to the Philadelphia area. Does anyone have any further information, especially preceding Matthew? It seems to me that an ancester of Matthew worked at Carpenter Hall in Philly.
