Posted by sue Ballymena Airman's Death Official intimation has been received that Warrant Officer William McKee, R.A.F, whose mother resides at Moorfields Station, Kells, Ballymena, lost his life while bathing in India. Hope this helps someone.

Not related to the Mckee surname, but found a clipping in an old newspaper that my grandmother had kept. It read as follows:
Deceased who was an only son, was educated at Ballymena Technical School, from which he matriculated into Magee College, Derry, but his bent was mainly mechanical and he joined the R.A.F. in 1935. He married Miss Grace Francey of Liverpool, and in addition to his wife he is survived by a baby son, William. His father who was also called William was killed while serving in France in the last war.
