Have been researching this person as I have aquired his family Bible. The LDS site was most helpful--it actually matches his wife and children's names, etc. Am offering these in case they would be helpful to others--George Young McKee was born (discrepancy here--LDS site says 30 Aug 1831, Bible says 30 April 1831)in Fayette Township, Allegheny, Co. (Pittsburg area) of Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Agnes Johnston (23 July 1832) on May 4, 1852.
They had two children--Charles Horace McKee (21 Apr 1854) and Louisa Clara McKee (26 Jun 1857). The LDS site gave me further background on George Young McKee's parantage. His parents were David McKee (born @ 1731) in Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland and Rebecca Irvine (born @ 1735) in County Down also. David McKee's parents are listed as Hugh McKee (born in @1700) of county Down, and Mrs. McKee (nmae unknown) born in about 1704. Hope this will be helpful to somone searching online.
