On april 11 1945 John Mckee, private of the South Saskatchewan Regiment, died in Hoogeveen, Holland. I am researching the liberating of Hoogeveen and like to have more information about John Mckee. I only know that he was 29 years old, and is burried now in Holten, on a Canadian War Cemetary. We remember John Mckee on a memoiral place with his name, but perhaps someone knows more about him. Who has a picture of him? Was he married, did he have children, wat was is job, before the war, that kind of things that make a name a person.....
