Robert McKee b Ireland ca 1755. First Census 1800 of Newberry,Newberry Co SC. Children mentioned in will of 1831:Joseph"my eldest",James, William, Samuel and dau Elizabeth. Apparently had a wife in 1800 and none in 1810.James and William went to Alabama (Chambers co) by 1840.Joseph d 1843,Elizabeth d unm in 1861 and Samuel d ca 1865.Samuel m Elizabeth UNK and had at least Martha,Joseph M.,Sarah Elizabeth McKee Johnson,Mary A McKee Abrams. Looking especially for descendants of Samuel and Elizabeth. William also is untraced although I know he went to Alabama with James(who is my ancestor) Thanks for any info on this family.Would like to also know where in Ireland they originated.Joseph and Samuel b in Ireland. Samuel b ca 1786. Elizabeth says she b in SC in 1792.They must have immigrated between 1790 and 1800. Thanks for any help on these McKees.Eleanor
