My grandfather was named John Homer McKee. He was born in the Dallas area on 9/28/1904. His mother was Mary Modawell McKee and his father was either John Claud or Joe Claud McKee depending on which relative told the story. Sometimes he was just listed as Claud. He died in July 1958 and is buried at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. I have been completely unable to find any information whatsoever on him or his ancestors. He and Mary (called May by the family) were married in the Dallas area around 1900 or a little before. She was born in Rockwall. If anyone has any information at all, I would greatly appreciate it.
