My Family were McKees from the Motherwell area, I know my grandfather who I beleive to be called Allan Mckee worked at the Ravenscraig steel works in motherwell, steel works was the main industry whether it have been motherwell bridge or ravenscraig etc. There were a few McKees in the area arpound these times.
