I feel like I personally know the McK.Pt. bunch, the children of David, b. 1710, founder & Margaret. They all named their kids David Robt, James, John, Elizabeth, nancy, Jane, Ann.
I cannot tie them into my Samuel, d. 1780 about ae. 45, w/5 minor children listed in Orphans Court in Hannahstown, Pa. He is thought, by some, to be one of Davids son, but had died years before Davids will was done.
All of mine lived in Westmorland Co., Hempfield Twp. for a hundred years.
The area was given to the bros, to live outside settlements to fight indians, and they were thick there when my Saml died.
I will be happy to fill you in on this line; Samuels kids, wife Margaret, md. Lyons, McConnells, Pierce, Patterson spouses. Donna
