Hello, just wondering if I may be related. My gr-gr grandfather was Phillip McKee (son of Terrence) who was born in 1821 in County Armaugh (Keady Parish). My dad died almost 3 years ago and I have a passion to collect McKee glass (mostly jadeite). I just stumbled upon this site.
Thank you & God Bless. Sue Schodron (Wisconsin)

: Hi,
: I am a Mckee and my husband and I collect
: McKee glass. We have been to Jeannette, PA
: where the Mckee glass company was located.
: We know that it was originally located in
: Pittsburg and produced glass there from
: 1853-1888. The town was named Jeannette
: (after Mrs. McKee) and was founded by H.
: Sellers Mckee, the owner of the plant. Does
: anyone have any information about H. Sellers
: Mckee and his family? Thank you. Cheryl
