I am related to the ones who went to Kansas then some stayed there and my direct line came to Washington State. Alot of the people in both lines are named the same, just the dates are different. My Grandmother came from Arkansas, my Grandfather met her while stationed there in military, he never lived in Arkansas per say but has strong ties there. I also have relatives in Oregon, the only Mc Kee I have ever met that I don't think is related was a sargent in the military, he was a different race but then with things happening the way they did in the south, one never knows.
