No unfortunaly it is not the same Samuel... Samuel McKee's family from as far back as 1800 was in Eagle twp (Jackson twp) Brown County Ohio. After he died his wife Jane or Janette stayed there till she passed in 1860. I have found Samuel McKee in the 1820 census with the last name spelled incorrectly as McKey. Still no luck with finding his parents.
