Looking for info on Robert McKee a union soldier who had a cousin, Green Gauley McKee who served in the CF army. Gauley was prisoner in Chicago and Robert helped him. Cannot trace Gauley's father John R McKee b. 1783 in Ireland, so am trying to trace family through relatives. John R. married Martha Saunders in Ga in 1823 and they moved to Al.
