My GGGGG grandfather died in 1840 in Washington County.
His name as William McGhee
His father is of no name. But there is records that show a man naming william in his will. That man is Alexander McKee.
I am not certain of this but I have seen that a lot of William McKee searches seem to die off when coming to the present. And mine dies off when going back. Might explain it.
Hope you can help me out too.
