where arte my roots?

my name is michael-the only thing i know of my
family is that my father,and his father were in tennessee,and possibly oklahoma.my fathers name is lawrence theodore,i dont know his fathers name.i have 2 uncles named lavern and lavelle(don't know correct spelling).-is this familiar to anyone?
