Well this is the info I do have
Samuel was born Oct 19 1770 in New castle Delaware. So I have been trying to find out if there are any birth records. Keep trying and i will to any break thoughs and I will let you know.
I personally think Samual was either names after his father of his father was john because several of his children also named a son John and or Samual. That is my guess but when you look at family patterns it is a good place to start.
