(A typical sensitive McCrimmon) Your Dad's vast "geographical" experience as a Glasgow Taxi driver certainly came in useful that day in our wanderings around Glasgow, we must have walked miles!! Truly your "wee Faither" was a remarkable man and as you said Alan "Once met never forgot". Condolances, Love and Sympathy from the McCrimmons in the South.
Dear Alan, Margaret and Family,
I was very sorry to hear about the passing of dear Dad. I will always remember my visit to his house in Glasgow and the projects he was working on, his well managed repair shop and all the mowing machines around in various stages of repair. Plus of course the photographs of the Pipe Band he took which he was so proud of. He never did manage to get down to London to look for his long lost Brother who we later found had actually passed on not all that long ago.
