Posted by RoseMarie McLean What information do you have further back. I have been doing genealogy for more than 15 years so have gone back for most family lines. My paternal Grandparents were born in London so i have great affection for that city but the 4 ancestral lines came from the 4 corners of England to live and work in London for a couple of generations, then came to CDN c. 1906-1908. Keep in touch, coz, rm

Hi Rob: I am also first generation Canadian, at least on my mother's side, who was born in Dumbarton. She was a Burgess. My Greatgrandmother was a McCrimmond. As they all did, her father, Alexander McC was born in Lorgill, Isle of Skye, c. 1810. He and she died in Renton DMB. My mother's family arrived in Canada in 1926 in Wpg. I grew up there and then moved to Calgary as my husband was an oil geologist and then we have partly retired to Kaslo BC.
