MacCrimmon family

Has anyone doing research on the MacCrimmon family in Skye found any reference to one of them being the owner of the Stein Inn in Skye sometime in the 19th Century. He was known as the "Gille Ruadh" the "Red Haired Lad". This information is from oral tradition but, unfortunately, I never heard a christian name mentioned.
