So far as I know 2 Dyer brothers ( my direct ancestors)married Marion and Jessie( Janet?) MacCrimmon who I think were related to the family of MacCrimmons who moved from the Lorgill,Durnish area on Skye very early in the 18oo,s. The Dyers worked in the dye/calico printing profession
