Hello John--thanks for replying-as far as I can remember Lachie came from Skye and I think his parents had a business their ,possibly a bakers but I'm not sure. He was married to Janet ? and when I worked with him they had just had twins.
Lachie always talked about going back to Skye to open a business , a hotel or B & B.
