Macleod Portnalong

There was a John Macleod from Portnalong, who was in the London Scottish Regiment in the early 1980's, then went to live at East Kilbride 1982 ?
There is a picture and article about him on the London Scottish website on the internet...if he is still around, I would really love to correspond with him, or his immediate family, as I believe we are related....
