
Posted by Lori Whiston on 8/26/2004, 2:46 pm Based on my research I've found text descriptions of a crest/coat-of-arms and a shield for the McCrimmon clan. I researched the meanings of the various words describing colour, position of lion, etc. I have access to all the various images used in family crests and have designed the Crest and the Shield using these standard, accepted graphics and combining them with the colours described in the written descriptions. If you are aware of anything additional, please let me know. The McCrimmon motto "permitte coetera divis" means "Leave the rest to the care of the gods," according to Halberts.
