I have been researching my family tree and I am looking for our coat of arms as well as any possible relatives in Skye.
Mary Matheson Nic(h)olson and Malcolm Nic(h)olson came to Canada from the Isle of Skye in 1848. I am related through their son Samuel, who was born in Skye in 1833 and came in through Chicago Ill around December of 1887 to the U.S. I have the h in () since it seems to have been added once over here. I see a Nicholson reference in your postings.
Can anyone help me?
